Frequently Asked Questions

  • Patients may start physical therapy services at any time and do not require a referral from their health care provider. We treat all ages with a variety of conditions.

  • With the high cost of healthcare and even higher deductibles, many patients never meet their deductibles in time for insurance to apply. If this is the case for you, we will check your insurance benefits and describe to you in detail the cost of service. All payments made will be applied to your deductible when applicable.  No need to worry about superbills.  We will send all claims to your insurance, so you don’t have to.

  • Your first session at our clinic is all about getting to know you, your goals, and how we can help. We’ll begin with a thorough evaluation, where your physical therapist will discuss your medical history, current symptoms, and any specific concerns, whether orthopedic (like joint pain, post-surgical recovery, or injury) or pelvic floor-related (such as core weakness, urinary concerns, or postpartum recovery).

This session includes a movement assessment to identify how your body is functioning and where support is needed. Based on this, we’ll create a customized treatment plan designed specifically for your needs and goals.

You’ll also receive hands-on treatment or guided exercises during your first visit, so you can leave feeling like you've taken the first real step toward healing and strength. We’ll also review what to expect going forward, how often you may need to come, and what you can do at home between sessions.

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, and bring any questions you may have. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

  • Yes! Many of our patients choose to take advantage of services not covered by insurance by paying out-of-pocket. We offer flexible self-pay options for a variety of wellness and recovery services designed to keep you feeling your best, even outside of traditional therapy sessions.

    • Massage Therapy sessions for relaxation, muscle recovery, and stress relief

    • Small-group workout classes focused on strength, mobility, and pelvic health

    • SoftWave Therapy for accelerated healing and tissue regeneration

    • Dry Needling to release tight muscles, improve circulation, and reduce pain

    • Manual Therapy including hands-on techniques to improve mobility, reduce tension, and support faster recovery

    • Quick Care sessions – focused, efficient visits where you receive exactly what your body needs to get through the week

  • Whether you’re in the gym or at home, we are 100% here for this! We can help create a routine that is catered to your activity level and personal goals. As this is not a medical necessity, it would be considered a “cash pay” service with a flat rate fee applied. Call us today to get rates for our personal health routines!

  • We understand this can feel like a sensitive topic, so we take time to build trust first. We start by listening to your story, your symptoms, and your goals. If a pelvic floor muscle assessment is recommended and you feel comfortable moving forward, we may perform a brief internal muscle check, typically lasting less than 5–10 minutes.

This involves a one-finger assessment through the vaginal or rectal canal to evaluate muscle tone, tenderness, coordination, and function. Throughout the process, we’ll explain the anatomy and purpose of each step so you can better understand your body and its capable, functional design.

Our goal is to create a safe, respectful space where you feel informed, empowered, and supported.

  • If you or a loved one are looking to age safely and confidently at home, we can help. We offer in-home safety assessments—a service covered by Medicare—where a licensed therapist will come to your home to evaluate potential fall risks, assess mobility needs, and provide personalized recommendations to improve safety and independence.

Whether you're recovering from an injury or simply planning ahead, our goal is to support you in staying safe, comfortable, and active in your own space for as long as possible.
